Dorset Music Forum's Online Platform Brings Opportunities For Local Bands

Dorset Music Forum launches its new website in August. Part of a national industry network, there are many good reasons for bands to register and create their artist profile.

DMF are working with forums over the South West to find the right artists to perform at major industry events, and to be in the running you need to have a profile on the site. Events include Music South West in Bristol this November, SXSW in Austin Texas in March 2011 and Brighton's Great Escape in May 2011.

Teenage Rampage this Saturday in Bournemouth

Following a fantastic opener to the Teenage Rampage Summer Tour 2010 at the recent and consistently brilliant MIX Festival near Exeter (with big thanks to Devon Music Service), then TR Apprentices working on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury the other weekend and TR band
Napoleon In Rags playing a blinder on the BBC Introducing Stage (check it out right here ) we kick off the tour proper this weekend with the Teenage Rampage Bristol Heat!

Music South West 2010

Much to shout about this month... Following on from the success of the sold-out event last year, Music South West returns for 2010. For 2 days, Bristol will once again be home to music industry talks and discussions by day and by night, plus the best new music from the South West at venues across the city.
